In the world of SAAS most customer feature requests pass into a black hole to never be seen again. The Blitapp team is unique and different. For example on July 22nd I requested "when sending file names to Google Drive from Blitapp, please stop 'normalizing' file name characters." By July 23rd the request was fixed and the special characters from https://www. web addresses could be saved to Google Drive file names from Blitapp. Exceptional!!<

Since August 2018, I had been looking for a cost-effective way to auto-deposit website screenshots into Google Drive ... until July 2020 when I finally found Blitapp while Google-ing "Stillio alternatives". Website HTML can be archived into Google Drive on a recurring basis for free using using Google Apps Script. I was searching for web screenshots automatically stored into Google Drive for which there exists no more cost-effective SaaS solution than Blitapp. Thank you Blitapp team for your dedicated work over the years to create such an intuitively designed solution!

I looked at a few competitors and tried a free trial before signing up for Blitapp in July 2020, and they definitely had the best value option. I require screenshots from several different URLs, and at different times each week (approx. 150 per week) and this was the only website where I could get that kind of customization and volume for an affordable price. It is very easy to set up captures, and there are many advanced features that I don't need but I can imagine would help a lot of people. The FAQ section explains everything really well and you can do test captures if you're unsure of how something will look.

Since signing up 7 months ago, I have seen several helpful improvements added to the site, especially in terms of searching and sorting through screen captures more easily. There used to regularly be a lag of a few minutes (after the requested capture time), but that has been sorted out as well. I wrote customer service to suggest an improvement and they implemented it within a week! I've never had this happen before. Customer service typically gets back to me within a day or so and they are always very courteous and helpful.

I'm giving 4 stars (not 5) mainly because of one issue, and if that got fixed, I would give 5 stars. On average, every 2 months or so, there seems to be a service outage (usually for about a full day) where the captures don't appear at all, or are taken many hours after I requested them. I've taken to checking Blitapp in the morning on the busiest days to make sure that I'm getting my captures. It's been approximately one month since the last outage, so I will improve my review if the site goes 5-6 months without a significant (i.e. many hours or a full day) outage.

Even with the above issue, I am still very happy with the service and recommend it. Improvements are being made all the time and value for money is excellent.
